MeetingLine is a prototype phone-based spoken dialog system developed as part of the CALO project developed by Dan Bohus and Satanjeev Banerjee. MeetingLine could provide phone-based access to recorded meeting information. Its is no longer being developed, but serves as an example Olympus system.

Getting Running with MeetingLine on a Desktop with SAPI TTS

(Easy Instructions for version 2.1)

  1. Get via subversion from http://trac.speech.cs.cmu.edu/repos/olympus/example-systems/branches/2.1 to a directory, say MeetingLine\
  2. Click on MeetingLine\MeetingLineBuild.bat
  3. Click on MeetingLine\MeetingLineRun.bat
  4. Plug in a headset
  5. Select Process Control->Restart all
  6. Click on Show next to TTYRecognitionServer
  7. In the input field, type init_session and hit enter

You should now be able to converse, the PINS are Bano, Dan, and Yitao.
